GT40 STARTER MOTOR

These are specially made for us using a Toyota geared drive motor with unique end casting and the original size GT40 pinion. It is therefore directly interchangeable with the original with the benefit of using less current. - £498

STEERING WHEEL

These reproductions by Moto Lita are 1 inch smaller in diameter to give more thigh room. The rim is covered in the original colour blue leather and comes complete with centre escutcheon and badge. - £380

ZF DS25 GEARBOX RE-BUILDS

From the end of June 2005 this work will transfer from the 'DRL' Workshop to one of my former mechanics, Paul Fleming.

Paul worked for me for over 15 years and since the GT40 took of big time in FIA Historic Racing has overhauled the majority of participating car's gearboxes, plus various Masarati Bora, Pantera, Mangusta, Lotus 49, McLaren F1 & GT variants. Over the last few years he has worked on over 50 different units.

Paul is now self-employed and has taken over all the unique ZF jigs, fixtures, measuring devices etc., and will continue to service them in his own premises in Maldon, Essex. His contact details are:
